Dr Marie-Claire Seeley (RN, PhD) is a Churchill Fellow and post-doctoral researcher at Adelaide University, specialising in autonomic nervous system disorders. Her research focuses on Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and its association with Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC), with published findings highlighting the high prevalence of autonomic dysfunction and its impact on quality of life. As CEO of the Australian POTS Foundation, she successfully led national advocacy for the adoption of a unique ICD code for POTS in Australia. The impact of her research and advocacy was recognised with the 2025 SA Science Excellence and Innovation PhD Award.
